QUALITY GURU AUDIT & INSPECTION SERVICES, based in Metro Manila, Philippines, is a sole proprietorship firm duly registered with the Philippines’ Department of Trade and Industry. The firm specializes in Quality Management System Audit based on ISO 9001 Standard, Pre-shipment Inspections, Product Safety Audits and Reliability Testing of electrical and electronic products.

The firm is owned and managed by Noel A. Matias, an Electronics & Communications Engineer by profession and a certified ISO 9001:2000 Standard Lead Auditor. Engineer Matias has been in the Quality Assurance field for more than two decades now. He had previously worked as a Senior Quality Control Engineer of NAD Electronics Limited in Hong Kong and also as the Quality Assurance Manager of Rotel Electronics (Zhuhai Free Trade Zone) Company Limited which is based in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, People’s Republic of China.

For more than twenty years, Engineer Matias has been conducting Quality Management System Audits, Pre-shipment Inspections, Product Safety Audits and Reliability Tests in various parts of Asia which include the Philippines, Taiwan, China, South Korea, Singapore and Malaysia. Among the numerous companies he visited overseas include TATUNG CO. in Taiwan, GOLD PEAK ELECTRONICS in China, LG ELECTRONICS and ANAM ELECTRONICS in South Korea, ASAHI ELECTRONICS in Singapore and CAPETRONIC in Malaysia. Engineer Matias had also visited the United States and the United Kingdom to discuss and resolve quality issues with distributors of electronic products.

Engineer Matias also finds time to contribute articles relating to manufacturing quality control and best practices to two US-based publications namely Multimedia Manufacturer Magazine and Voice Coil Magazine.
